STORY
OG Steaks...you might wonder where our logo and name came from. Both in homage to our friend, the original cheesesteak maker, Frank "Pudge" Carbone. He started his first shop 40 years ago located across from LaSalle University.
After Pudge's death in 2000, the shop was taken over by his daughter and son-in-law who continue to run it today. Pudgee's has won numerous awards over the years, including the 'Best of Philly' award.

The original logo started from a drawing of Pudge, which still hangs in their store.

Our daughter took one look at this logo and knew where she had to go with it.

To us, Pudge will always be the Original Gangster of cheesesteaks.
